The NT Natural Resource Managmeent Awards recognise and celebrate the individuals, groups, organisations and partnerships making an outstanding contribution to the sustainable management of the Northern Territory’s natural resources.

Across the Territory, people are working to care for Country, protect biodiversity, improve land and water management, strengthen communities and support sustainable industries.

 

The Awards provide an opportunity to acknowledge their achievements and share the stories, knowledge and partnerships creating positive change.

Nominate an outstanding invidivual, group or project

​

We encourage nominations from across the Northern Territory, including community groups, Indigenous groups and organisations, rangers, landholders, pastoralists, farmers, schools, businesses, researchers, government agencies and natural resource management practitioners.

You can nominate someone else, your organisation, a collaborative project or your own work.

​

We want to hear about:

​

• Rangers, landholders or community members making a real difference on the ground

• Scientists and researchers whose work is helping us better understand and manage our environment

• Schools and young people who are getting hands-on and thinking big for a more sustainable future

• Farmers and pastoralists using smart, sustainable ways to manage land and water

• Businesses and organisations showing leadership in looking after the environment

Celebrating excellence in

Winners will be announced, and the achievements of finalists will celebrated at the NT NRM Awards Gala Dinner Ceremony on Wednesday, 18th November 2026 at the Darwin Convention Centre.​
